The Reception

The reception will take place on Saturday, May 3 at Columbia Station in Phoenixville, Pa. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m., at which time dinner will be served. The reception will end at 10:30 p.m. DJ Smoky will provide entertainment.

If you're thinking that Columbia Station looks like a train station, that's because it once was. Columbia Station is located on the site of the former Phoenixville Station of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad, which was founded in 1833 to haul coal from Reading to Philadelphia.

Today, Columbia Station is fully renovated and, although the train tracks are gone, it still has a completely restored life-size caboose that sits next to the garden out front.

Phun Pfacts about Phoenixville:

  • Neal Olkewicz, a linebacker for the Washington Redskins who owns two Super Bowl rings, was born in Phoenixville on January 30, 1957.

Welcome!

We are very excited for May 3, 2008 and hope that everyone else is too. This is the place to come for any details that you need. Our wedding is taking place in suburban Philadelphia, where Jen grew up, so we'll also have plenty of directions posted and information about things to do in the area.

First things first - the hotel. There is a room block reserved at The Desmond in Malvern, PA. Call 1-800-575-1776 and request the Cowell-Amos room block. There are some rooms reserved for those of you who want to come in on Friday and plenty of rooms reserved for Saturday.
